Pongolo Valley Primary School is an immaculate school just outside of Paulpietersburg, a bustling farming community in Northern KwaZulu-Natal.
Started by Ruth Beneke, a qualified teacher who saw the need for English-medium foundation phase education in order to help young learners navigate the jump to Gr5 - where learners are taught primarily in English.
Determined to make this education as accessible as possible, Beneke just asks that parents pay nominal fees with the majority of running costs being funded by KDK Boerdery and German funders.
Pongolo Valley Primary School is a registered non-profit company and a Public Benefit Organisation.
